Thank you for your
interest in joining the Collingwood Rocks With Elvis Fan Club. The fan
club was founded April 17, 1998 and we are officially recognized by
Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., Memphis, Tennessee. Little did we know
that our newly comprised fan club would grow by leaps and bounds so
quickly.
The goal of our club
is to honour one of the greatest entertainers in the world. Our
objective is to bring our community and fans closer together by
focussing on Elvis Presley's characteristics, his moral courage,
generosity of heart, and love of music. We aim to encourage the virtues
of faith, hope and charity among fans and to increase the profile of
our community.
The music of Elvis
Presley has been embraced by more people from around the world than
that of any other performer of the twentieth century. The Collingwood
Rocks With Elvis Fan Club was created to keep the music, memory and the
magic of the King Of Rock And Roll alive in our hearts. The love and
devotion of Elvis' fans is legendary and I personally can't begin to
thank you, the fans, for your dedication to preserving the image, and
musical legacy of Elvis Presley.
When you join the
Collingwood Rocks With Elvis Fan Club, you will receive a membership
package consisting of our fan club t-shirt, membership card, and one
newsletter per year. We invite all to submit news stories, interviews,
photos and announcements of up-coming shows and events. All members and
guests are invited to attend our functions and participate in club
activities. Members may advertise their shows, events, products, or
services in our "Have You Heard The News" newsletter.
We invite you to come
on board, join a fan club fit for a king and join in the fun,
excitement and hospitality that our great town of Collingwood extends
to you throughout the year.
We also invite you to
Shake, Rattle and Roll along with us at the Collingwood Elvis Festival
July 26th - 30th 2007 as we celebrate the life and music of Elvis
Presley, The Greatest Entertainer Of All Time.
