your best dancing shoes, and we will have you swinging to the Elvis beat
all weekend long!
As President of the
Collingwood Rocks With Elvis Fan Club, I am thrilled to have the
opportunity to welcome Elvis' fans from around the world back to
beautiful Collingwood, Ontario.
This year's Festival
offers an exciting schedule of competitions and programs for the entire
family. I hope you will enjoy the numerous special events that are
planned for your enjoyment. I invite you, the fans, to enjoy a wealth of
talented tribute artists, the friendly people, and to celebrate the life
of the ARTIST OF THE CENTURY, MR. ELVIS PRESLEY!
The music of Elvis
Presley has been embraced by more people from around the world than that
of any other performer of the twentieth century. This Collingwood Elvis
Festival weekend was created to keep the music, memory and the magic of
the King Of Rock And Roll alive in our hearts. The love and devotion of
Elvis' fans is legendary and I personally can't begin to thank you, the
fans, for your dedication to preserving the image, and musical legacy of
Elvis Presley.
On behalf of the Fan
Club, I would like to thank all of the performers who continue to excite
and entertain us with their wonderful tributes in Elvis' name, and
memory. In addition, on behalf of thousands of Elvis' fans, I would like
to extend our gratitude to the Festival volunteers, sponsors, and
Festival co-ordinators for their tremendous support, hard work,
dedication, and for keeping Elvis alive in Collingwood.
May you have a
fun-filled weekend rocking around Collingwood and, above all, plan to
come back and Shake, Rattle 'N Roll again with us next year!
